Who are we?
We are the local Salisbury model club, forme
d as a branch of the International Plastic Modellers Society – UK.

Where & when do we meet?
In the Scout Hall, Dennis Marsh House, Coldharbour Lane, Salisbury, on the first & third Tuesdays of every month, from 19.15 till 2200.

What do the club members build?
Just about everything & in all scales! The majority build aircraft, & armour , WITH some FIGURES, science fiction & ships.

What does the club do at meetings?
We meet primarily to share our modelling experiences & show off our models. Also, we both seek & offer help & advice to each other on all aspects of our hobby. There is a regular programme of events to liven up our meetings, but there is also plenty of time to chat & see what others have been up to as well.

Do I have to be a “good” modeller to join?
Definitely not! We all enjoy our hobby & that is all that is important! Club members have a wide range of experience & abilities, from beginner to a National Champion!

How much does membership cost?
Our subscriptions are £5 per annum for under 18’s & £10 for adults.
This covers the hire costs of the hall, a bi-monthly newsletter & subsidised transport when attending other shows on behalf of the club.

Can I come along & see if I like it?
Yes, visitors are always welcome! Your first two visits are free anyway & it’s only if you then wish to continue do we ask you to cough up with some money!

Do I have to join the main IPMS as well?
No. But many of the members have & as a result enjoy many of the services & privileges of the main society.
